BENUE State government said it has closed down 40 illicit Schools of Health Technology in the state because of unlawful exercises of their items.
It will shock you to note that most of these illicit school of health claims to have the best doctors and nurses in their disposals to their patients thereby leading them astray. They have killed a lot of innocent victims that go there for one treatment or the other. Thank God for the existence of this government who has taken it as a priority to fetch them out. This government action has resulted in the closure of about 40 illicit schools of health and technology in the state.
Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Cecilia Ojabo who bemoaned the expansion of Schools of Health Technology said that the conclusion was to free off the condition of deception.
She noticed that the state had the most astounding Schools of Health Technology in the nation, focusing on that the service needed to set up a board on deception because of open clamor on the peril characteristic in the exercises of quack wellbeing faculty.
She clarified that the influenced schools did not meet the essential for setting up such schools by their proprietors and included that the results of such illicit schools of wellbeing innovation were discovered running phony facilities and completing surgical operations.
The chief mourned that few lives have been lost in the rustic groups in the state to the illicit exercises of the quacks.
"We set up a board of trustees to move around every one of the groups in the state because of open objection about the unlawful exercises of these quacks, we learned that those illicit schools of wellbeing innovation prepare individuals who later open facilities and complete surgical operation".
"A large number of these individuals during the time spent completing their unlawful exercises killed the clueless patients while the individuals who are fortunate to survive have their conceptive framework devastated in the appearance of treating them for barrenness."
The Commissioner who said that the activity would be a continuous one said the service was ready to make life significant for the general population of the state, complimenting the state senator, Samuel Ortom for his commitments towards raising the standard of medicinal services conveyance in the state.
This should serve as an eye-opener to others who have failed to meet up to standard and follow due process in establishing a school of Health in the society. Not that we are discouraging you from establishing one, but due process should be adopted in other to save guard the life of our citizens. The aim should be to save life first and any other thing can follow.
Our advice to all is that on your side, make sure the school of health you are thinking of going or has to be admitted is registered.
